About The Position

Hive Home Intelligence designs and installs high-end home automation systems for some of Tampa’s most beautiful homes. We’re growing fast and looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Director who understands how to scale a sales team, drive consistent lead flow, and take ownership of our revenue engine. This is a leadership role. We’re looking for someone who can manage marketing vendors, field their own leads, distribute opportunities effectively, and hold a sales team accountable to KPIs. You’ll be actively involved in the sales process while building the systems needed to scale. Requirements

  • Have proven leadership experience in sales management, in the AV, smart home, or high-end construction industries
  • Have experience building or overhauling sales processes, including CRM workflows, follow-up cadences, and customer journey mapping
  • Understand how to manage marketing partners and evaluate lead generation ROI
  • Are comfortable both leading a team and closing deals in the field
  • Take pride in building structured sales processes and tracking performance through KPIs
  • Have strong communication skills to build solid relationships with high-net-worth clients and internal teams
  • Can make data-driven decisions and solve problems proactively

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with AI tools and how to apply them to sales, marketing, or operations is a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Leading and scaling the sales team, providing coaching, structure, and accountability to hit revenue targets
  • Owning and refining the full sales process — from customer journey and lead follow-up cadences to proposal follow-up workflows — building the structure needed to scale
  • Managing and coordinating with marketing vendors to ensure a steady, high-quality lead flow
  • Fielding and qualifying leads, then strategically distributing them to the sales team
  • Closing your own deals by taking on select high-value field leads and driving them across the finish line
  • Tracking and reporting on sales KPIs, analyzing data to improve close rates and optimize the sales process
  • Developing commission structures and incentives that align with business goals, focusing on net profit and job close metrics
  • Collaborating with the President and operations team to ensure sold projects align with our capacity and quality standards
  • Refining the customer journey to ensure every touchpoint reflects the premium nature of our brand
