About The Position

Georgia Pacific Corrugated Packaging is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to support their integrated box business in Cleveland, TN. This role is key in shaping the commercial strategy, developing and implementing innovative sales strategies to drive market growth and deliver exceptional value to customers. The position is remote with a regional focus, requiring candidates to reside in or relocate to the Chattanooga/Cleveland, TN area. Relocation assistance is available. The compensation package includes a competitive base salary with semi-annual variable compensation, a company vehicle, and covered expenses. The anticipated pay range is $150,000 - $200,000 per year, with eligibility for variable pay.

Requirements

Experience in sales within the corrugated packaging industry
Ability to travel throughout the region as necessary to support our current and prospective customers

Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and develop the commercial sales team, focusing on recruitment, retention, and ongoing development.
Foster strong, mutually beneficial partnerships between sales, customer service, and operations by collaborating with other commercial business units.
Drive continued growth in revenue and profit margins by seeking out innovation and strategic opportunities.
Develop and implement market-driven sales strategies and pricing aligned with a market-focused vision.
Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Create value through customer success by implementing the world-class sales training process.
Ensure a robust sales pipeline tailored to regional needs.
Maintain compliance and safety in accordance with governmental regulations and company standards.
Effectively utilize Microsoft 365 applications and CRM Microsoft Dynamics.
