About The Position

TruTeam is seeking a Sales Manager to join their team. This role involves actively selling and managing Sales Representatives to drive sales growth within a designated geographic territory. The sales portfolio includes all TruTeam products and services, targeting General Contractors, Home Builders, Remodelers, and Consumers. Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license (if operating a vehicle for company purposes).
  • Obtain applicable certifications/licenses as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent years of experience.
  • Course of study in Construction science or marketing.
  • Prior industry sales experience (preferred).
  • This is a safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities

  • Actively selling and managing Sales Representatives responsible for developing sales growth to support financial goals and priorities within a designated geographic territory.
  • Recommending products, materials, and services based on customers’ needs and interests.
  • Identifying prospective customers and consistently following up on leads from existing as well as potential clients.
  • Using Time and Territory Management Sales skills trained by TruTeam to deliver the TruTeam Value Proposition and secure a “relationship” with new and existing clients.
  • Meeting division expectations for closing sales ratios.
  • Providing product knowledge and expertise to current and potential customers.
  • Monitoring market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales.
  • Working the majority of time outside of the office conducting sales calls, providing proposals, generating new business leads, and maintaining account management.
  • Managing customer experience from initial sale to project completion, including incoming phone calls and walk-ins requesting sales information.
  • Responsible for meeting sales and direct margin budget expectations.
  • Performing any other duty, task, or responsibility as assigned.
