This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, the Sales Manager is a high-visibility, developmental leadership role responsible for supporting the day-to-day commercial and operational execution of the Business Unit. Serving as a primary interface between customers and Canyon’s internal teams, the Sales Manager ensures customer requirements are clearly defined, communicated, and executed effectively across engineering, operations, customer service, and other support functions. This role requires the ability to balance customer needs, operational constraints, and business priorities to support sound and profitable business decisions. The Sales Manager is responsible for driving timely cross-functional action to support customer commitments and Business Unit objectives. This role drives resolution of customer and operational issues, supports pricing and contract activities, identifies new business opportunities, and ensures alignment and accountability across engineering, operations, customer service, and other functional teams. The Sales Manager also serves as a primary escalation point for customer and business issues and helps maintain continuity of Business Unit operations during periods of Business Unit Manager absence or travel.
