Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • FINRA Series 7
  • FINRA Series 66 or Series 63 and Series 65 (or ability to obtain within first 120 days of hire)
  • 2+ years of previous management experience or sales leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day responsibilities of a team of licensed financial advisors.
  • Manage and report on sales performance, talent management (recruiting), workforce management, and client management.
  • Create a culture of growth, ensuring relationship deepening and business objectives are met.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones with advisors for career development, goal setting, and expectation management.
  • Lead recruiting efforts to support business goals.
  • Conduct coaching sessions and trainings to help advisors expand knowledge and meet sales goals.
  • Drive engagement by promoting a healthy and positive competitive culture.
  • Review advisor productivity, SLA, and progress towards business goals.
  • Create reports on current and past sales trends.
  • Supervise the investment and relationship deepening process, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Manage time off requests to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Handle manager callbacks and client escalations.
  • Coach advisors on best practices to mitigate client complaints.
  • Work with key partners to identify, develop, and execute initiatives that improve advisor productivity, enhance the end investor experience, and accelerate new client acquisition.
  • Adapt to a fluid, fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities, processes, and requirements.
  • Utilize critical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Act as a self-motivated team player.
