About The Position

Sales Managers work directly with all staff throughout the entire Sales process, from start to finish, ensuring compliance with Northtown’s policies and performance expectations. The role requires a 5-day workweek, including Saturdays, with availability Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 7 pm. This position is responsible for demonstrating, training, coaching, and mentoring the sales team on the entire sales process, managing customer interactions, and ensuring all vehicle inquiries are documented in the CRM. The Sales Manager will support the sales team throughout the entire sales process, follow established desking processes, and conduct follow-up on all customer activities related to vehicle purchases. Additionally, the role involves supporting Financial Services and mastering the sales contribution to selling warranties, while effectively leading and managing staff to meet company objectives.

Requirements

  • Previous success in an automotive sales role for 3+ years required.
  • Previous Sales Management experience, minimum 3-5 years required.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Ability to operate a smartphone, tablet, and/or PC.
  • Valid in-state driver's license.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, both verbal and written.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Stellantis products preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate, train, coach, and mentor the entire sales process with the sales team.
  • Accurately enter all floor traffic into the CRM each day the store is open.
  • Count and document every inquiry of a vehicle, including walk-ins, guests from service, phone calls, and internet leads.
  • Be involved early on with all guests throughout the entire sales process to support the sales team.
  • Follow the established desking process that is consistent and informative.
  • Follow up on all customer activity involving the purchase of a vehicle, sold and unsold.
  • Support Advanced TO for Financial Services and the products offered.
  • Master the Sales Manager contribution to selling a warranty.
  • Effectively lead and manage staff to ensure company objectives are being met.
