About The Position

The Sales Manager is responsible for market shares for Crown and other key product lines, financial performance, and the day-to-day activities of each branch's territory sales function. This role involves planning, conducting, and participating in sales meetings, as well as designing and implementing sales strategies and programs. The Sales Manager will coordinate activities among other managers, review and approve sales-related functions, and maintain direct contact with current and prospective Branch and National Accounts customers. Additionally, the position offers support and oversees the activities of the sales group, assists staff in making customer calls, and aids in daily time, territory, and account management. The Sales Manager is also responsible for recruiting, selecting, training, developing, and counseling direct reports, preparing budgets for branch managers, and reviewing accounts receivables to ensure timely payment for products.

Requirements

  • Five to seven years material handling industry experience, preferably with product sales background
  • Bachelor degree, preferably in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program, or several years of successful sales experience
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and the ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demos
