About The Position

The Sales Manager is responsible for meeting or exceeding NRG's budgeted revenue and gross margin goals for the 2026 year. This involves visiting customers, generating leads, working with consulting engineers, developing relationships with contractors and end users, identifying plant operations opportunities, collaborating with internal teams for cross-selling and after-sale support, documenting sales opportunities, and generating proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Meeting or exceeding NRG's budgeted revenue (and gross margin) goals for the 2026 year.
  • Visiting new and existing customers to identify their needs, generate opportunities and strengthen relationships.
  • Generating leads through prospecting leveraging boiler equipment and project databases, social media, and networking.
  • Working with consulting engineers to specify NRG's products and services.
  • Developing relationships with contractors and end users for the direct sale of NRG's products and services.
  • Identifying and pursuing plant operations opportunities in surrounding areas.
  • Working closely with NRG's leadership team and the Service, Parts, and Operations departments to identify cross selling opportunities, close and provide after-sale support.
  • Documenting and Tracking of sales opportunities weekly using Salesforce.
  • Generating proposals via BuildOps for all quotations (i.e. boiler operations, service, and projects).
