Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven automotive sales experience.
  • A track record of consistent performance and steady career growth.
  • Natural people skills; ability to build trust with customers and team members.
  • Sharp communication skills, including confident presentation, strong negotiation, and clear writing.
  • A closer's mentality; ability to ask for the sale and follow through.
  • Professional presence, including polished appearance and composure under pressure.
  • Must have a strong background in automotive sales.
  • Steady work and performance history.
  • Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships.
  • Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Must be a strong closer and possess the ability to ask for the sale and follow through.
  • Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, coach, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
  • Set and achieve monthly and annual targets for units, gross profit, and operating income.
  • Manage inventory by sourcing, ordering, and merchandising new and used vehicles.
  • Analyze market data and sales reports to develop effective sales campaigns.
  • Administer and maximize manufacturer-sponsored programs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
