About The Position

Russ Darrow Greenfield Mazda is seeking a driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing sales team. This role is ideal for a proven automotive professional who thrives on coaching others, driving results, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. As a Sales Manager, you will play a key role in mentoring Sales Associates, improving team performance, and helping customers through the buying process. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, a track record of success in automotive sales, and a hands-on approach to desking and closing deals.

Requirements

Dealership management experience
Must be interested in training additional sales associates and work within a team environment
Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday
Clean driving record
Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and hold the sales team accountable to performance goals and standards
Work directly with customers and sales staff to build relationships and enhance the overall sales process
Assist in desking deals, structuring transactions, and closing both new and pre-owned sales
Train, coach, and mentor Sales Associates on proven sales techniques and product knowledge
Monitor and improve team productivity, including lead follow-up, appointments, and closing ratios
Support the development of each salesperson’s pipeline and customer base
Facilitate ongoing sales training and team development initiatives
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process
Collaborate with F&I and other departments to ensure smooth deal flow and customer experience
Maintain strong knowledge of inventory, market trends, and dealership offerings
