As a Sales Manager, you will ensure customer requirements are identified and communicated to project teams, and determine sales price objectives based on market knowledge and competitor positioning. You will collaborate with sales teams in other regions to maintain global pricing and strategy consistency. This role is crucial in implementing pricing strategies, submitting competitive quotations, and representing the customer's viewpoint within project teams regarding quality, costs, and delivery times. You will also educate customers on new technologies and solutions, align customer messaging with the Project Management team, and drive negotiations during the business acquisition process. Additionally, you will provide commercial insights, guide customers towards recommended actions, keep the organization informed of negotiation and competition status, and review/negotiate new contracts in line with group policies. You will be responsible for preparing budgets, managing and reporting selling prices, and meeting order intake targets, including turnover evolution for assigned customers. Operational responsibilities include worldwide operation, negotiating prices for modifications (technical, volumes, raw material, inflation), building and negotiating productivity plans, liaising with Sales Administration for price updates, and managing customer relationships during claims and crises. You will also monitor and take action to reduce overdue payments and contribute to team development and training.
