About The Position

The Sales Manager is responsible for delivering world-class customer service, preserving and growing the current client portfolio, and continuously prospecting and developing new accounts. This role requires meeting and exceeding sales quotas, training, leading, and developing sales staff, and recognizing customer needs to create effective solutions. The Sales Manager will assist customers with vehicle selection, promote model options, features, value-add products & services, and purchase/finance options according to dealership policy. They will also facilitate deliveries by clearly explaining features, operation, warranty, and servicing requirements. Additionally, the role involves acting as the source for national and local courtesy deliveries, supplying specifications as needed for orders, and providing out-of-stock service for fleet accounts and local leasing companies in conjunction with the new-vehicle department manager. The Sales Manager must attend all required staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes, and maintain accurate documentation of all sales.

Requirements

  • Commercial vehicle sales experience
  • 2 + years of experience in a managerial role
  • Business to business sales experience is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial in nature, with strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Negotiation and sales skills to effectively motivate and lead a team of sales representatives
  • Verifiable sales performance
  • Ability to provide a quality customer experience to fleets of one or one hundred
