About The Position

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the dealership sales team to achieve revenue and profitability goals while delivering exceptional customer experience. This role oversees daily sales operations, develops team members, monitors performance metrics, and ensures compliance with company policies while driving business growth.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent automotive sales management experience.
3–5 years of automotive sales experience, including at least 1–2 years in a leadership or management role.
Proven ability to achieve sales targets and lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
Proficiency with CRM systems, dealership management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with a results-driven mindset.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to successfully complete pre-employment requirements, including background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) review, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
Oversee daily dealership sales operations, including inventory management, pricing strategies, and customer engagement.
Monitor sales performance, customer satisfaction, and key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with finance, service, and dealership leadership to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sales practices, and all applicable federal and state regulations.
Recruit, train, and develop sales consultants while fostering a high-performance team environment.
