About The Position

Implement4 is a recruitment agency working on behalf of a privately held restoration company seeking a Sales Manager to help grow, train, and lead a developing sales department across a large Pennsylvania territory. This is a confidential search. Company-identifying details will be shared with qualified candidates later in the process. This is a sales leadership role for someone who wants to build, coach, and scale a high-performing referral-driven sales team. The company currently has two salespeople producing approximately 20 jobs per month and sees a clear path to adding additional sales talent as the team grows. The long-term goal is to develop each salesperson toward meaningful production levels, with the ability to expand the department as volume increases. The territory is substantial, covering a broad region between the Philadelphia area and Huntingdon, PA. The Sales Manager will be responsible for strengthening referral relationships, developing new business channels, training salespeople, and creating the structure needed for a scalable restoration sales department. This is not a private equity environment. The company is looking for someone who values an entrepreneurial, relationship-driven, operationally grounded business where decisions are made close to the work and where sales leadership has a direct impact on growth.

Requirements

  • Proven success in outside sales, account management, or sales leadership
  • Experience building referral relationships with trade partners, service businesses, or related industries
  • Ability to coach, train, and hold salespeople accountable
  • Strong closing, follow-up, and relationship management skills
  • Comfort managing a large territory across Pennsylvania
  • Ability to work independently and create structure without heavy corporate oversight
  • Strong communication skills with referral partners, salespeople, and leadership
  • A performance-driven mindset with comfort in a commission-heavy compensation plan

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling to or partnering with plumbers, HVAC companies, roofers, property managers, insurance agents, or home-service providers
  • Prior experience managing outside sales representatives
  • Experience building a sales department or scaling a small team
  • Familiarity with restoration, mitigation, reconstruction, insurance claims, or emergency service work
  • Existing relationships in Pennsylvania home services, trades, or referral partner networks

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the existing sales team while also selling
  • Help recruit, onboard, and train additional salespeople as volume grows
  • Build relationships with referral partners across the assigned territory
  • Develop referral channels with plumbing, HVAC, roofing, exterior services, property management, insurance, and other home-service partners
  • Create consistent sales activity expectations, accountability standards, and follow-up processes
  • Support outside sales representatives in territory planning, account development, and referral partner management
  • Train the team on relationship-based selling, objection handling, referral generation, and restoration opportunity identification
  • Track activity, referral sources, job volume, conversion rates, and production by salesperson
  • Work with leadership to align sales growth with operational capacity
  • Represent the company professionally in the market
  • Help build a sales culture that is competitive, accountable, and relationship-driven
