About The Position

Staff Zone is seeking a Sales Manager to grow our presence in the market and Construct Lives within our community. This role involves selling skilled labor, general labor, and payroll solutions to contractors who need reliable people. The ideal candidate will be a hunter-minded individual who knows how to build relationships in construction and is not afraid to chase business. We are also open to training individuals who are interested in a career in the construction industry.

Requirements

  • Comfortable on a construction site or walking into a GC’s trailer
  • Grit, hustle, and a love for face-to-face relationship building
  • Organized, proactive, and motivated by commission
  • Basic tech skills (CRM, email, texting platforms)

Nice To Haves

  • Staffing, construction, or trades-related sales experience

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and building relationships with GCs, subcontractors, and superintendents
  • Meeting clients face-to-face at job sites and offices
  • Consistently closing new business and expanding current accounts
  • Partnering with your operations team to ensure job site coverage and client satisfaction
  • Managing a book of business and growing your territory
  • Attending Networking Events (golf tournaments, clay shoots, lunch & learns, etc.)
