About The Position

Amigo Material Handling is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to manage and grow our Industrial Sales team. We're looking for someone who is passionate about developing people, building scalable sales processes, and driving revenue growth through a high-performing sales team. This position is focused on coaching, developing, and managing sales professionals, not carrying an individual sales quota. You'll work closely with company leadership to execute the sales strategy while building a disciplined, customer-focused team capable of delivering sustainable growth. Requirements

  • 3+ years of successful sales management experience leading a business-to-business sales team.
  • Strong understanding of consultative sales and opportunity management.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing salespeople.
  • Experience building sales processes, managing pipelines, and improving forecast accuracy.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% overnight.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and develop a growing team of sales professionals.
  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor new sales talent.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and hold the team accountable to key metrics and goals.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions, team meetings, and pipeline reviews to support individual and team performance.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue within the material handling market.
  • Improve sales processes, forecasting accuracy, CRM utilization, and overall sales execution.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, Customer Service, and Operations to support customer success.
  • Support the sales team on key customer presentations, negotiations, and strategic opportunities when needed.
  • Attend industry trade shows and customer visits to strengthen relationships and generate new business opportunities.
  • Partner with manufacturer representatives and dealers to support sales growth, strengthen channel relationships, coordinate sales activities, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Travel approximately 25% overnight throughout the year.
