The Sales Manager will solicit, negotiate, and confirm new and repeat business through various efforts such as outside sales calls, telemarketing, direct mail, referrals, networking, and internet prospecting to maximize revenues and meet or exceed goals. This role requires compliance with established company sales process standards. The Sales Manager will record, notify, and coordinate customer specifications with other departments, and respond efficiently to customer issues, comments, and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects. This position involves creating and distributing effective internal and external communication, both written and verbal, and developing and implementing creative sales strategies by analyzing historical, current, and future hotel/market/account trends. Additionally, the Sales Manager will develop and continually enhance relationships with key corporate, business, and travel industry accounts, maintain accurate records and files, and participate in training, trade shows, field trips, and community, industry, and professional organizations to maintain high visibility and support sales and revenue goals. The role also includes performing special projects, participating in task forces and committees, and representing the property at various trade shows.
