Requirements

  • Previous automotive sales management experience required
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals and driving dealership performance
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities
  • Strong understanding of dealership sales operations and CRM systems
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement effective sales strategies
  • Professional demeanor with a customer-first mindset
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and departmental sales goals
  • Train and develop Sales Consultants on product knowledge, sales processes, and customer experience standards
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximize dealership profitability
  • Work directly with customers to assist in vehicle selection, negotiations, and closing opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer guidelines, and regulatory requirements
  • Partner with the Finance and Service departments to create an outstanding customer experience
  • Review sales reports, metrics, and forecasts to drive business decisions
  • Manage lead follow-up processes and support business development efforts
  • Foster a positive, professional, and customer-focused dealership culture
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain top sales talent
