Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of SM experience with full responsibility for variable operations in a successful dealership
  • Proven track record of building, leading, and developing high-performing sales teams
  • Strong history of delivering excellent CSI scores and above-average gross and net profitability
  • Experience driving showroom traffic, internet leads, SEO/SEM strategies, direct mail, and traditional marketing efforts
  • Extensive experience leading and developing a high-performing BDC department
  • Knowledge of used vehicle acquisition, merchandising, and inventory strategy
  • Strong leadership experience managing desk managers and improving F&I performance through coaching and accountability
  • Results-driven mindset with strong leadership, communication, and operational excellence

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales team through hands-on training and active deal participation
  • Drive profitability across new and used vehicle operations
  • Oversee all showroom activity and maintain a high level of product knowledge across departments
  • Monitor and improve Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores through performance analysis and action plans
  • Recruit, hire, motivate, and manage New and Used Car Managers, Internet Sales, Finance Managers, and Service Drive Sales teams
  • Conduct daily and weekly sales training meetings for Sales Consultants and Product Specialists
  • Mentor both new and tenured team members on proven sales strategies and closing techniques
  • Develop, implement, and manage CRM processes to ensure strong follow-up and lead conversion
  • Establish and monitor vehicle delivery processes to ensure a world-class ownership experience
  • Ensure every delivery includes a service department introduction and first service appointment scheduling
  • Achieve monthly and annual dealership and OEM goals for sales, gross profit, and expense management
