Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
  • 3+ years' experience selling in the multifamily industry
  • Experience working for a startup or in startup culture with a high degree of autonomy, a self-motivated go-getter who excels at problem solving
  • Proven resilience and goal orientation, with a strong track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and performance expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while actively supporting the success and growth of colleagues.
  • Proven track record for articulating a product/service and building rapport with prospects
  • Strong communicator with a knack for getting both customers and team members alike excited about what you’re saying
  • Maintain excellent organizational and analytical skills with technical abilities
  • Proactive ability to analyze data points and provide key insights and recommendations
  • Ability to suggest and pitch process improvements or suggest efficiencies to improve the sales performance
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently and multi-task with minimal supervision
  • Ability to pinpoint customer pain points and accurately assess the transactional value for both the company and customer

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, driving new business within the multifamily industry
  • Build and manage relationships with property owners, operators, and marketing teams
  • Manage and convert inbound leads while proactively generating new opportunities through outbound prospecting
  • Maintain a healthy, accurate pipeline in HubSpot, including activity tracking, deal progression, and forecasting
  • Conduct discovery conversations to uncover client needs, challenges, and business goals.
  • Position and sell digital advertising solutions, including geofencing, streaming TV, and retargeting strategies
  • Develop and present tailored proposals that clearly communicate value and expected outcomes
  • Drive deals forward through consistent follow-up, objection handling, and closing strategy
  • Leverage existing relationships and industry connections to generate referrals and expansion opportunities
  • Stay up to date on multifamily trends, competitive landscape, and client behavior to refine sales approach
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support deal execution and ensure a smooth transition to onboarding
  • Deliver a high level of responsiveness and professionalism in all client and internal communications
  • Contribute to a high-performing, team-oriented sales environment
  • Other duties as assigned
