About The Position

Jeff Wyler Hyundai of Fairfield is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of sales professionals. This role requires a leader who can drive traffic, coach effectively, maintain accountability, protect gross profit, and foster a winning culture. As one of the highest-volume Hyundai dealerships in the region, we are looking for a candidate who is passionate about developing people, closing deals, creating urgency, and leading by example in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 5 years minimum sales experience required.

  • Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a “people person”).
  • Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Must be a strong closer and possess the ability to ask for the sale and follow through.
  • Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals every day.
  • Desk deals while maximizing front-end gross and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct daily sales meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions.
  • Work side-by-side with salespeople to help close deals.
  • Hold the team accountable to phone calls, appointments, follow-up, and sales process.
  • Monitor CRM activity and ensure every customer receives world-class communication.
  • Recruit, interview, and develop future top performers.
  • Build a culture centered around urgency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
