We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to join our leadership team at Crown Honda. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven leader who is passionate about automotive retail, team development, and delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving dealership performance and profitability. Following the initial 90-day onboarding and training period, the successful candidate will be equipped to confidently use multiple dealership systems and lead a high-performing, customer-focused sales team. Success in this role means building strong client relationships, generating repeat business, and consistently exceeding customer expectations while supporting overall dealership growth.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of automotive sales experience required
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle appraisals, inventory management, trade evaluations, and pre-owned vehicle operations.
  • Valid Driver’s License with the ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
  • Proficiency with dealership sales, inventory, and appraisal software.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities with a high attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, adaptable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrates CROWN Auto Group’s CARMA Values: Collaborate, Accountable, Relationship-focused, Motivated, Attitude.
  • Additional languages are considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, motivate, coach, and manage the sales team, fostering a positive sales culture focused on performance, accountability, and employee retention.
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets while developing and implementing effective sales strategies and processes.
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience by monitoring all stages of the sales process, maintaining high CSI standards, and driving customer retention and referral business.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, daily coaching sessions, and ongoing training focused on product knowledge, inventory management, and selling best practices.
  • Monitor and perform follow-up activities on customers and prospects, assisting sales staff in closing deals when required.
  • Manage pre-owned vehicle operations, including inventory levels, vehicle merchandising, appraisals, trade evaluations, and achieving monthly pre-owned sales targets.
  • Work closely with internal teams to provide competitive trade-in values and ensure vehicles are market-ready for sale.
  • Oversee wholesale vehicle disposal through auction and online platforms while maximizing profitability and minimizing losses.
  • Manage vehicle display standards, utilize dealership software effectively, and perform other duties as assigned.
