About The Position

Dimmitt Chevrolet is actively seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in Chevrolet operations and pre-owned vehicle management. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands how to drive volume, gross, and inventory turn—not just desk deals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager in a Chevrolet or GM store
  • Strong pre-owned inventory management skills (aging, acquisition, pricing, turn)
  • Ability to desking deals, structure subprime and prime deals effectively
  • Track record of improving front-end gross and total deal profitability
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to hold sales teams accountable
  • Experience working with BDC and digital lead conversion
  • High energy, competitive mindset, and process-driven

Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive pre-owned inventory strategy (acquisition, pricing, aging)
  • Desk deals and maximize gross profit while maintaining volume
  • Work closely with F&I to improve total deal performance
  • Monitor and improve lead-to-sale conversion and showroom performance
  • Train and develop sales team on process, product, and closing
  • Maintain accountability across the sales floor and ensure clean deal flow
