This role involves managing the Personal Care customer portfolio for F&F, encompassing traditional F&F products and a full range of cosmetic ingredients for Personal Care applications. The Sales Manager NA will support negotiations, pricing, and commercial conditions under senior sales management guidance, while monitoring orders, contracts, and customer satisfaction for reliable execution and service. A key aspect of the role is identifying and developing new business opportunities within the Personal Care market, including new customers, applications, and portfolio expansion. This includes supporting the implementation of account plans and growth strategies for both existing and potential customers, as well as working closely with distributors and partners to support their development and performance. The position also serves as a crucial source of market insights for LANXESS concerning the Personal Care and Cosmetics industry, requiring continuous monitoring of market trends, customer needs, formulation trends, innovations, and competitor activities. These observations are to be translated into clear insights and opportunities, shared with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management teams, and used to support strategic discussions for portfolio development. The role requires regular customer visits, documentation of interactions in the CRM system, and active information exchange with global and regional sales and marketing teams. Additionally, the Sales Manager NA will support sales routines such as pricing updates, sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting, contributing to budget preparation and forecast accuracy. Customer credit evaluation processes will also be supported, in alignment with internal guidelines. Participation in trade shows and industry events is expected to strengthen LANXESS’s visibility and network. The role also includes ensuring proper processing and feedback of customer complaints.
