Sales Manager - Credit and Public Equities

Third Bridge•New York, NY
•$170,000 - $190,000•Remote

About The Position

Third Bridge is seeking a strategic and operationally-focused Sales Manager to lead its US Credit & Public Equities sales organization. This is a pure management role, meaning the successful candidate will not be responsible for carrying an individual quota or managing a personal book of business. The primary mission is to lead, scale, and optimize a high-performing team of Sales Representatives. The role focuses on the 'how' of the sales engine, including developing talent, refining the sales process, and ensuring the team has the necessary strategy and resources to exceed US revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience in B2B sales, with a significant track record of managing and scaling teams of sales representatives.
  • A clear commitment to professional management over individual contribution, finding more professional satisfaction in the team’s success than in closing a deal personally.
  • Deep familiarity with modern sales frameworks (e.g. SPIN, MEDDIC, or NEPQ) and the ability to train others in these techniques effectively.
  • Expert-level ability to use CRMs (such as Salesforce or Gong) and data visualisation tools to track KPIs and influence team behaviour.

Responsibilities

  • Direct, mentor, and develop a team of Sales Representatives, focusing on improving individual performance through regular 1-to-1s, call coaching, and structured career development planning.
  • Craft and implement the UK go-to-market strategy, including identifying target sectors, optimizing lead generation workflows, and refining the value proposition for the UK market.
  • Maintain a rigorous overview of the UK sales funnel, ensuring CRM hygiene is upheld and providing leadership with accurate, data-backed revenue forecasts.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the sales cycle and implement solutions, such as adopting new sales technology, adjusting scripts, or improving the hand-off from Marketing.
  • Work closely with Account Management, Product, Marketing, and Execution teams to ensure the sales team is aligned with the wider business roadmap and customer experience goals.

Benefits

  • Basic salary of $170,000 - $190,000 USD plus quarterly commission/bonus
  • 15 days of vacation (increasing to 20 days after 2 years of service) plus US Holidays
  • Personal development allowance of $1,150 per year
