About The Position

Sales Manager – Cloud & AI Based in: Ireland, UK or Serbia. NEC Aspire Technology (Aspire) , headquartered in Dublin, delivers vendor-independent software solutions and end-to-end services to telecom, cloud, and digital infrastructure providers, including system integrators. We increasingly support next-generation AI and cloud infrastructure builders—such as AI Factories and Data Centre operators. Our portfolio includes advanced software platforms such as ATAP (Aspire Telecoms Automation Platform) , providing scalable capabilities for automation, AI driven analytics, and service enablement across network and cloud environments. Combined with our multi-vendor, multi-technology approach, we help clients solve complex network and cloud challenges, driving measurable improvements in performance, resilience, and efficiency, while reducing CAPEX and OPEX. As part of our expansion across Europe and our strategic focus on cloud, AI, and digital infrastructure, we are looking for a high-calibre Sales Manager – Cloud & AI to accelerate growth across the region. The Role As Sales Manager for the Central & Eastern Europe region, you will be responsible for driving new cloud-related business opportunities while expanding and strengthening existing key customer relationships. This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer. A competitive salary and significant OTE is offered.

Requirements

  • Candidates will have a demonstrable and successful track record of achieving revenue objectives through personal effort using a network of contacts and by leading and managing sales.
  • Success in working with CSPs, in consultancy, professional services and software is a must, along with success in selling high-value, complex solution sales to major CSPs, and strong hunting and farming capabilities and importantly experience in cloud and digital infrastructure sales.
  • 5+ sales experience showing clear career progression and proven recent series of wins within CSPs
  • A consistent and proven track record of achieving sales objectives
  • Demonstrated planning and forecasting skills
  • Experience selling with and through Solution Partners (e.g. systems and/or network integrators)
  • Experience of working in mobile networks
  • Experience in selling consultancy, professional services and software to CSPs
  • Large company and early-stage experience, used to working in virtual teams and sharing resources
  • Experience of developing sales strategy and methodology for new and innovative solutions
  • Professionally sales trained and experience with sales methodologies, such as Salesforce.com and CRM360
  • Fluent in English, proficient in Portuguese and Spanish is desirable, knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • Proven track record in software sales, with a strong focus on AI-related technologies
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with system integrators to drive complex solution-based sales
