Sales Manager - Business Travel
About The Position
The Battle House Renaissance Mobile Hotel & Spa and Renaissance Mobile Riverview Plaza Hotel are seeking a results-driven hospitality sales professional to grow the business travel and transient market segment across both hotels. This role is focused on identifying new business opportunities, developing and strengthening corporate accounts, building relationships with key decision-makers, and positioning the hotels as preferred choices for business travelers in the Mobile market. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact across two established full-service hotels by prospecting, developing accounts, negotiating business, and turning relationships into measurable revenue.
Requirements
- Proven hospitality sales experience, ideally involving business travel, corporate accounts, or transient hotel sales.
- A demonstrated ability to prospect for new business, develop accounts, build client relationships, and contribute to revenue goals.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A results-oriented mindset with the ability to understand market opportunities and convert them into business.
- Strong organization, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop business travel accounts by proactively identifying, qualifying, soliciting, and securing new corporate and transient business opportunities.
- Grow existing client relationships by understanding account needs, identifying additional opportunities, and building long-term relationships that generate repeat business.
- Negotiate and close business using strong selling and negotiation skills to develop agreements that meet client needs while supporting hotel revenue goals.
- Understand the market and competition by staying informed about competitors, economic trends, supply and demand, and potential sources of business within the Mobile market.
- Represent both hotels in the marketplace through proactive sales activity, client meetings, site inspections, community involvement, and relationship development.
- Partner with hotel teams to ensure client expectations are communicated effectively and business is positioned to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
