About The Position
Launch your leadership career with Ryder as a bilingual Sales Management Trainee in the Montreal area! This is a full-time, permanent position located in St. Laurent, Quebec. The role offers a salary of $52,000-$55,000 annually and operates on a Monday-Friday schedule with rotating shifts of 6:30 AM-3:30 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. The program provides hands-on experience across Sales, Rental Operations, Fleet Management, Customer Service, and Finance through rotational learning opportunities. You will develop foundational knowledge of Ryder's business while contributing to day-to-day sales operations and business growth initiatives. The role includes mentorship, coaching, and exposure to leadership teams to build management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, all within a fast-paced environment offering visibility into multiple areas of the transportation and logistics industry.
Requirements
- Bilingual French and English communication skills are required to effectively support customers.
- Bachelor's degree required business administration or similar related degree
- Must be computer literate intermediate required
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year or more customer service with issues resolution experience preferred
- Ability to relocate in the region/US at the conclusion of the training program
Responsibilities
- Handling the sales and process for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation
- Maintain current and accurate data within the company's marketing database
- Responsible for generating rental, lease and used vehicle sales leads
- Manage all rental asset processes to include Vehicle Pm and cleanliness standards
- Meet overall Ryder market share by successfully executing the sales and marketing initiatives
- Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal and other regulatory agencies
- Reconcile all customer concerns, issues and disputes in order to maintain the ongoing relationships and grow the current customer base
- On a voluntary basis as well as based on scheduling, the Rental Management Trainee will be required to perform the role of On-Call Representative based on work schedules as determined by Supervisor.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
