About The Position

The Retail Sales Lead supports daily store operations by guiding the sales team, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring the sales floor is organized and engaging. The role helps drive store performance through hands-on leadership, including coaching team members, assisting customers, managing merchandise, and supporting opening and closing procedures. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem-solver who can inspire others while maintaining a positive, customer-focused environment.

Requirements

Minimum high school education or equivalent.
At least one year of supervisory or leadership experience, or equivalent education.
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written skills.
Ability to use POS and other store computer applications.
Must be available Saturdays and Sundays.
Must be available to open and close.
Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

Open the store and maintain opening operations on scheduled days.
Close the store and maintain closing operations on scheduled days.
Execute bank deposits.
Complete cash refunds for returned merchandise professionally.
Complete markdowns on sale and damaged goods when instructed.
Receive and help merchandise inventory shipments.
Promote and motivate staff to achieve sales goals, communicate goals, and monitor achievements.
Ensure customers are properly serviced through direct selling and monitoring of the sales floor.
Inform staff of daily assignments and böhme initiatives as outlined by the Store Manager and Corporate Office.
Make merchandise and floor changes as assigned by the Store Manager.
Uphold loss prevention standards and secure store assets and property.
Maintain housekeeping and organization of the sales floor, backroom, cash wrap, and other store areas.
Report customer service, customer, and employee incidents to the Store Manager.
