About The Position

The Sales Lead will be responsible for developing and executing area-specific sales plans, supporting the sales team's growth, and identifying new business opportunities. This role involves leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of Business Development Representatives to achieve performance goals. The Sales Lead will also build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, oversee the development of sales proposals, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and client needs.

Requirements

  • A post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related discipline is required. An equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant professional experience may also be considered.
  • A proven track record of progressive experience in business development, or client relationship management, with demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies, and build long-term partnerships with clients across diverse sectors.
  • Experience in contract negotiation, RFP/RFQ responses, and complex solution selling within a service-based or B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of public and private sector procurement processes, particularly within the security, facilities management, or related service industries.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a talent for influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • High degree of professional integrity, accountability, and results orientation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute area-specific sales plans aligned with organizational objectives and revenue targets.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing professional development of the sales team to ensure a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Business Development Rep's to achieve individual and collective performance goals, ensuring consistent delivery of potential client engagement and growth outcomes.
  • Identify new business opportunities (through various means up to an including cold calling) and emerging market trends; provide recommendations to leadership to maintain and grow market position.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key prospects, strategic partners, and community stakeholders to enhance visibility and reputation in target markets.
  • Oversee the development and presentation of sales proposals, including pricing strategies, solution design, and presentation materials, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client needs.
