Sales Lead - Flat Irons Crossing
About The Position
As a Sales Lead at Soma, you partner with store leaders to supervise the team, lead by example, and support leadership responsibilities as needed. You help uphold brand standards and foster a positive team culture by giving clear direction and support toward team goals. You model a welcoming, customer-centered environment and create memorable, personalized experiences that reflect Soma’s culture of hospitality. The role supports general store operations, including opening and closing, sales-floor leadership, team coaching, and operational activities such as cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment. This is a regular, part-time position at the Flatiron Crossing store in Broomfield, Colorado, with an hourly pay range of $16.16–$20.20.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
- Team-player mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to bend, reach, and stretch for products; maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom; operate the register; and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
- Share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
- Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and using an omni-channel approach.
- Coach and encourage the team to stay on track with performance goals.
- Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
- Stay knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
- Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling when needed.
- Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
- Contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork with peers and leaders.
