About The Position

As a Sales Lead, you partner with store leaders to supervise the team, lead by example, and support leadership responsibilities as needed. You help uphold brand standards, shape a positive team culture, and provide direction and support to help the team achieve its goals. You model a welcoming, customer-centered environment and create memorable, personalized experiences that reflect the company’s culture of hospitality.

The role supports store operations and team performance, including opening and closing, communicating brand priorities, demonstrating product knowledge and an omni-channel approach, coaching associates, and carrying out cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment. This is a regular part-time position at the Parkway Place Chico’s store in Huntsville, Alabama.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Team-player mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, and stretch for products; maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom; operate the register; and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of retail management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and using an omni-channel approach.
• Coach and encourage the team to stay on track with performance goals.
• Carry out operational activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Stay knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling when needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork with peers and leaders.
• Create welcoming, personalized customer experiences.
