About The Position

Shorebird is seeking a Sales Lead to manage and grow its customer base and revenue. The company has experienced significant growth in paying users and revenue over the last 12 months, serving over 4,000 businesses worldwide, primarily through inbound leads and product quality. The market for Flutter developers is large and growing, presenting a significant opportunity for expansion. While Shorebird is a product-led company, this role is crucial for closing and growing relationships with Fortune 500 companies. The Sales Lead will build upon existing sales infrastructure, including CRM and outbound tooling, to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth. This role is not about starting from scratch but about scaling an already successful model.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years in a closing or commercial role at a developer tools or technical SaaS company.
  • Experience with enterprise deals including multi-stakeholder sales, procurement, and legal steps.
  • Comfortable being the only sales person for an extended period.
  • Located in North America (remote).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at a PLG company that had to figure out enterprise as it scaled.
  • Familiarity with the Flutter or mobile development ecosystem.
  • Prior experience as an early commercial hire at a startup.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound leads: Qualify, run, and close deals from first contact through signature.
  • Build outbound strategy: Identify high-value Flutter app developers with marketing, find ways to reach them, and build a repeatable motion.
  • Grow existing accounts: Manage renewals, renegotiations, and expansion opportunities, staying proactive to anticipate issues.
  • Navigate enterprise procurement and legal processes, with support from the operations team.
  • Own and improve the CRM and sales tooling.
  • Grow Annual Contract Value (ACV) and pursue six-figure deals.
  • Identify and pursue larger customer and partnership contracts.
  • Address undercharging by existing Fortune 500 customers by recognizing and closing value gaps.
