About The Position
The Sales Lead, also described as a Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead, is a customer-facing representative responsible for creating a positive experience for every patient and customer. The role requires knowledge of optics, products and services, and managed vision care, and supports customers in finding eyewear that meets their needs. The Sales Lead contributes to daily sales goals and store operations.
Requirements
- At least 12 months of optical experience with Visionworks or another organization, or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related job experience.
Nice To Haves
- Related customer or patient experience is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver daily sales goals by ensuring effective execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
- Engage with patients and customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
- Measure patients and customers for eyewear and maintain product and optical knowledge through ongoing training and development to help ensure eyewear is right the first time.
- Carry out day-to-day operational activities that support store financial and customer experience goals, including restocking inventory, merchandising, and fulfilling eyewear orders for shipment.
