You know how to utilize your network of brokers and distributor partners to accomplish revenue and strategic goals. Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience in consumer packaged goods sales is required; natural food channel experience is preferred.
  • Business analytics experience using Excel and Sales data within resources such as SPINS, IRI, and customer portals is required.
  • Existing knowledge of the natural channelâ msd s customers, distributors, brokers, etc. and a solid understanding of the natural channelâ msd s customers, their requirements, needs and trends is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage key Natural Channel independents like Erewhon, The Fresh Market, Earth Fare, plus the balance of Natural Channel accounts.
  • Own and execute customer-specific sales strategies to drive revenue, distribution, new item launches and year-over-year growth â msd proactively identifying opportunities and addressing gaps.
  • Lead and influence brokers, distributors, and customers to ensure strong execution against annual objectives, including regular performance monitoring and field engagement.
  • Demonstrate understanding of market conditions and events, customer issues, and competitive intelligence to develop a comprehensive sales plan.
  • Contact and schedule appointments with natural channel customers including business reviews, line extensions, promotion programs, etc.
  • Lead key internal selling processes for your Natural Channel team
  • Willing to travel an average of 35% to attend trade shows, customer meetings and field visits.
