About The Position

The OTIP Group of Companies (OGC) is seeking a Sales Lead Coordinator for a 3-month contract position in Ontario. This role supports the Regional sales department by managing, tracking, and qualifying sales leads, ensuring they are properly routed to the appropriate sales representatives. The position contributes to Orbit's overall growth and profitability, enhances the departments’ effectiveness, and provides administrative assistance to the Sales Brokers and Manager. Requirements

  • A secondary school diploma.
  • A minimum of one year’s experience in an office environment.
  • A minimum of one year’s experience in the insurance industry or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the demonstrated ability to deal effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Superior time management, project management and organizational skills to manage competing priorities.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications and experience with EPIC.

Nice To Haves

  • A Broker license is an asset.
  • The ability to communicate in French and English is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the intake and distribution of incoming leads from various sources (web, phone, email, etc.) ensuring timely follow-up and accurate documentation.
  • Review, assess, and qualify leads based on established criteria to ensure they meet the necessary standards for pursuing sales opportunities.
  • Review and respond accordingly to client and third-party requests, including contacting them for additional information and returning messages.
  • Initiate communications and follow up with clients and appropriate parties to request or verify information as required, following established department procedures.
  • Audit and update policy information on the broker management system to ensure accuracy of data and policies.
  • Maintain and update the Broker Management System with accurate lead data and track lead progress through the sales pipeline.
  • Pre-qualify risks, obtain necessary information to finalize sales, follow up on expiry dates, screen and follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns.
  • Process and distribute online quotes.
  • Respond to telephone inquiries and written requests from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for improving the lead qualification process, streamlining workflows, and enhancing overall efficiency.
  • Provide quality service while adhering to customer service standards and keep information confidential to protect operations.
  • Perform other duties within competence, as assigned.
