About The Position

McLane is a leading supply chain services provider with over 130 years of experience serving convenience stores, mass merchants, drug stores, and chain restaurants. We are seeking future sales leaders who are dedicated to delivering superior customer experiences. The 2027 McLane summer internship program will provide intensive sales and account management training, along with real-world sales projects to be completed by the end of the program. Interns will be paired with a mentor and have the potential for full-time employment after graduation.

Requirements

• Must have obtained at least a junior status in a Bachelor’s degree program with completion of a minimum of 48 semester credit hours; OR be enrolled in a Graduate degree program.
• Must be able to work full-time from mid-May to the end of July of 2027.
• Must be a junior or senior with an anticipated graduation date prior to May 2028.
• Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university.
• Must be willing to relocate out of state during the summer internship and if hired as a full-time teammate after graduation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct special studies in conjunction with a sales-focused project, analyze data, make recommendations, and create a final presentation.
• Be responsible for account focused project assignments, research, and analysis.
• Use the computer network and standard proprietary software; prepare reports analyzing specific aspects of department structures, functions, and/or operational procedures.
• Utilize current or department specific software to complete assignments.
• Other job duties may be assigned.
