About The Position

The Sales Intern participates in Aerotek’s 10-week paid internship program and learns the three phases of business supported by a local operation: Recruiting, Account Management, and Field Support, with a heavy emphasis on sales. The role requires business acumen and interaction with Aerotek employees, candidates, contractors, and clients. Successful completion of the program could potentially lead to a full-time offer in Aerotek’s Sales Development Representative program.

It is a privately held organization with more than 200 offices nationwide and works with 95% of Fortune 500 companies, providing staffing and services solutions across manufacturing, logistics, construction, aviation, facilities, and maintenance.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college or university and seeking a BA/BS degree.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Customer service experience.
• Sales-related experience.

Nice To Haves

• A sales degree, minor, or certificate is preferred.
• Transitioning between junior and senior years of college is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Post available positions online using Aerotek’s candidate tracking system, Connected, to increase the candidate pool.
• Evaluate incoming resumes and select qualified candidates for the interview process.
• Schedule candidate interviews with recruiters.
• Shadow recruiters during calls, interviews, and reference checks.
• Maintain documentation in Aerotek’s Applicant Tracking System.
• Attend contractor lunches with recruiters.
• Shadow account managers on cold calls and client visits.
• Shadow account managers through client acquisition and requisition qualification processes.
• Attend networking events.
• Participate in lead generation and shadow cold-calling sessions.
• Shadow Field Support during background investigations and drug-testing processes.
• Shadow Field Support during the unemployment process, including claims and hearings.
