About The Position

This internship is designed for individuals pursuing a degree or recent graduates in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. The intern will assist and support Project Leaders by providing administrative maintenance and data input within the project timing plan. This role involves tracking and monitoring progress, communicating reminders, and escalating issues as needed. The intern will also help in tracking project team activities, ensuring timely accomplishment of functional tasks, and assisting with sample parts to meet customer requirements. Additionally, the role includes identifying and managing project risks, monitoring tooling pictures, evaluating and processing tooling invoices, attending cross-functional meetings, and studying customer portals to enhance customer support. Other responsibilities may be assigned by the Director of Sales or Vice President of Program Management.

  • Previous internship experience in Program Management, Engineering or related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and support Project Leaders by providing administrative maintenance and data input within the project timing plan.
  • Track and monitor progress within the project timing plan and communicate reminders of past due tasks.
  • Set up reminders, schedule team meetings or conference calls, and escalate issues to Project Leader when required.
  • Assist in tracking project team activities from manufacturing facilities to ensure complete and timely accomplishment of functional tasks.
  • Work with the project team to ensure sample parts are provided on time and meet customer requirements.
  • Help to identify and manage project risks.
  • Monitor tooling pictures and evaluate and process tooling invoices.
  • Attend and participate in various cross-functional meetings.
  • Study and understand customer portals to better support each customer’s process.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Sales or Vice President of Program Management.
