About The Position

Our Sales Team is looking to grow and develop the future leaders of sales. This role is an exciting opportunity for you to gain firsthand experience in prospecting, shadowing demo calls, engaging with and qualifying leads, enhancing your communication skillset with clients and learning from the top performers at Bectran. This internship is onsite based in our HQ located in Schaumburg, IL.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree, with a strong interest in building a career in professional sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Personable, outgoing, and energetic, with a natural ability to build relationships.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and a quick learner.
• Collaborative team player who is willing to take initiative and work effectively across functions.
• Eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Engage prospective customers by phone and email to schedule qualified demos.
• Partner closely with the Business Development and Account Executive team to ensure strong communication and proper hand-offs.
• Grow your knowledge in key areas such as product, competitive market, industry, and more.
• Shadow and support demo calls, engaging with prospects to help push deals through the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with Marketing on projects to help generate opportunities for the sales team.
• Meet with various members of the sales team regularly to strategize on deals.
• Accurately enter and maintain clean data in our CRM (Salesforce.com).
