About The Position

This role is responsible for managing, publishing, and building reports for customers in coordination with the sales leader for the account. The analyst will anticipate needs for the account lead to service the customer, lead day-to-day decision enablement through analysis, and work to change item numbers, SKUs, or any other item maintenance as needed. The position also involves assisting with budget vs. actual financial comparisons, identifying and addressing trends to shape replenishment analysis, and understanding and improving current replenishment tools. A key role will be played in annual/bi-annual line reviews with customers, providing insights about their business using trend analysis, and understanding customer needs, performance, and market insights about the category. Advanced knowledge of customer platforms and internal systems is required, along with identifying and improving inconsistent processes. The analyst will work cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Continuous Improvement, etc., and provide reports as needed. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or another related field
  • 3-5+ years of experience in analyst role or similar
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint proficiency is required
  • Must understand the basics of replenishment analysis and be able to successfully execute in a timely manner
  • Detail-oriented with excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Proven individual initiative and responsibility demonstrated through prior work experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presenting communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Team player with a positive attitude and solution-oriented, balanced by being able to conduct work in an autonomous and collaborative environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide the customer and sales lead with insights about their business using trend analysis
  • Understanding of customer needs, customer performance and basic market insights about the category
  • Advanced knowledge of customer platform and internal systems
  • Identify areas of inconsistent processes and improve on those areas
  • Work cross functionally with Operations, Finance, Continuous Improvement, etc. as needed
  • Provide and produce reports for sales lead, external customer, or leadership as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
