About The Position

The Inside Parts Sales position at Pace Transportation is responsible for providing our retail and installer customers with a high level of service. They also support management in the accomplishment of all assigned tasks, including maintaining inventory control, store appearance, and customer relations.

Requirements

Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service
Ability to obtain a Chauffeur’s License and DOT Medical Card if needed (company paid)
Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) if needed (company paid)
Basic computer & math skills

Nice To Haves

Heavy duty service or automotive parts experience
Previous sales experience

Responsibilities

Sell goods and services to accounts and prospects to support the overall goal of sustained growth.
Conduct frequent inbound and outbound phone calls.
Develop over the phone, computer-based, and in-person customer service relationships.
Continually grow technical, product, and application knowledge of parts essential to the heavy-duty vehicle aftermarket.
Use of catalogs and parts manuals to identify and sell heavy duty trailer and truck parts.
Suggest sale of related parts when identical replacements are not available.
Keep current on new products and product updates and answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, and product features.
Effectively communicate features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers.
Operate the point-of-sale system Karmak to search for parts and customer accounts.
Other tasks as assigned.
