This is a hunter's role for individuals who excel at outbound sales and enjoy the challenge of building a pipeline from scratch. The role involves making calls, sending emails, attending events, and engaging directly with small and mid-size business owners to sell Bosun's flat-fee recruiting services. Bosun is a recruiting firm that offers a flat fee per hire, backed by a 90-day guarantee, catering to businesses that cannot match enterprise hiring budgets but require quality talent. The target clients are SMB founders, owner-operators, and growing teams seeking an alternative to traditional, percentage-based agency fees.

Requirements

Proven track record in closing difficult sales, with verifiable numbers.
Ability to initiate conversations without a script.
Understanding of small business owners' pressures, priorities, and language.
Comfort with receiving frequent 'no' responses.
Belief in the value of flat-fee recruiting for small businesses.
Self-directed and able to manage one's own day without micromanagement.
Experience in outbound sales, not primarily account management.

Responsibilities

Build and own your pipeline.
Run high-volume outbound sales activities including calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.

Collaborate with the recruiting team to ensure service delivery aligns with sales promises.
