We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Sales Floor Supervisor to lead by example and help maintain a productive, professional, and energetic sales-floor environment. The Sales Floor Supervisor will maintain a consistent presence on the floor, monitor team engagement and productivity, reinforce company expectations, and provide ongoing motivation and support to employees throughout their shifts. The ideal candidate is an approachable and accountable leader who is comfortable addressing concerns in the moment, recognizing opportunities for improvement, and helping employees stay focused on achieving both individual and team goals.

Requirements

Previous experience in sales, customer service, team leadership, or a supervisory role preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to confidently address performance and behavioral concerns in a professional and respectful manner.
Strong observational and organizational skills.
Ability to remain visible, engaged, and active on the sales floor for extended periods.
Ability to motivate and encourage employees while maintaining appropriate accountability.
Strong judgment and discretion when handling employee concerns.
Ability to work effectively with employees and leadership at all levels.
Reliable, professional, and positive attitude with a strong sense of accountability.
Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
High School Diploma or equivalency.

Responsibilities

Maintain a consistent presence on the sales floor and regularly walk the floor to ensure employees are actively engaged in their assigned responsibilities.
Monitor employee activity and ensure team members remain focused, productive, and engaged throughout their shifts.
Identify behaviors or situations that negatively impact productivity, professionalism, morale, or the overall sales-floor environment.
Reinforce company expectations regarding professionalism, workplace conduct, dress code, cell phone use, appropriate workplace conversations, and overall employee behavior.
Address minor behavioral or performance concerns in the moment and communicate recurring or significant concerns to the employee's direct manager.
Document and report observed policy violations, behavioral concerns, or recurring issues to the appropriate manager when necessary.
Encourage employees to remain focused on daily goals and maintain consistent production throughout their shifts.
Help employees identify barriers that may be affecting their production and direct them toward appropriate resources or leadership support.
Maintain an energetic, positive, respectful, and professional atmosphere on the sales floor.
Motivate employees to remain engaged and focused on achieving individual and team performance goals.
Provide encouragement, coaching, and positive reinforcement throughout the day, particularly during periods when production is below expectations.
Recognize employees who demonstrate strong performance, professionalism, teamwork, and consistent engagement.
Partner with management to communicate trends, recurring challenges, and opportunities for improvement on the sales floor.
Lead by example by consistently demonstrating professionalism, accountability, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic.
