About The Position

DACUT Cannabis Retail is seeking a dynamic Sales Floor Manager to lead their sales team and elevate the customer experience at one of Michigan’s premier cannabis dispensaries. This role is ideal for an energetic and customer-focused leader who enjoys motivating teams, increasing sales performance, and creating a welcoming environment for every guest. The Sales Floor Manager will oversee all front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, strong sales performance, and seamless day-to-day execution on the sales floor. They will lead and develop budtenders, supervisors, and guest service team members while supporting company initiatives, promotions, and sales goals. This position is for someone passionate about leadership, customer engagement, and creating an outstanding retail experience while driving measurable business results.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality, sales, or cannabis operations.
  • Strong customer service and team leadership background.
  • Experience managing performance metrics and sales goals.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Must meet all state requirements for employment within the cannabis industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily sales floor operations to ensure an exceptional customer experience from check-in to checkout.
  • Coach, motivate, and develop budtenders and sales associates to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Foster a positive, customer-focused culture centered on education, engagement, and service excellence.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximize revenue, transaction size, and customer retention.
  • Ensure all team members maintain current product knowledge and confidently educate customers on cannabis products.
  • Oversee floor coverage, staffing deployment, and customer flow during peak business hours.
  • Support the execution of promotions, loyalty programs, product launches, and marketing initiatives.
  • Address customer concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Partner with store leadership to monitor KPIs, sales trends, and operational opportunities.
  • Maintain compliance with all cannabis regulations, company policies, and operating procedures.
  • Conduct team coaching sessions, performance feedback, and ongoing training initiatives.
  • Ensure merchandising, product displays, cleanliness, and store presentation standards are consistently maintained.
