About The Position

Intermountain Farmers Association (IFA), a regional agricultural cooperative, is seeking a Sales Floor Associate for the IFA Country Store in Provo, Utah. The associate greets customers, shares product knowledge, provides customer service and solutions, and helps customers with purchases, including some parts assembly when needed. The role also involves keeping the work area clean and organized and communicating information to customers in a timely, informative, and cheerful manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of equivalent customer service or sales experience.
• Familiarity with irrigation products and irrigation systems.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and sales-minded.
• Experience operating a cash register and using other computer software and programs.
• Ability to calculate discounts and percentages and perform basic math functions.
• Ability to interpret a variety of written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store.
• Share product knowledge and expertise with customers and provide a high level of customer service.
• Provide customers with solutions to meet their needs.
• Assist customers with purchases, including some parts assembly when needed.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized area.
• Present information effectively and respond to customer questions in an informative, timely, and cheerful manner.
