About The Position

Buckman delivers exceptional service and innovative solutions to our customers globally in the pulp and paper, leather, and water treatment sectors to help boost productivity, reduce risk, improve product quality, and provide a measurable return on investment. This position is primarily responsible for the SAPPI Cloquet mill, with additional responsibility for Cornell Manufacturing. Prospecting territory would include UPM Grand Rapids, Liberty Becker MN, and PCA International Falls. This includes current business at SAPPI and Cornell with additional high percentage funnel projects for SAPPI in the pulp mill. Primary tasks include full closure of the currently pumping MCAi evaluation and closure of projects in the pulp mill.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4 - 6 years of job experience

Responsibilities

  • Managing the relationship with the customer in a manner that makes Buckman attractive and prevents attrition.
  • Bringing savings projects to the customer to help improve the process (>10% of sales each year).
  • Reaching annual sales targets by increasing volumes or obtaining new applications.
  • Servicing the account in a manner that keeps the customer happy.
