About The Position

The Sales Executive, Lodge Kohler is responsible for driving group business (6+ room nights per night) and business travel revenue (Corporate and Business Travel Rates) to achieve occupancy and financial goals. This role serves as a key ambassador for Kohler Hospitality, promoting the property as a premier luxury destination while building lasting client relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and at least 1 year of professional sales experience
  • Hotel sales experience preferred, ideally within a luxury or upscale property
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suites, CRM experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Travel approx. 15% annually.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Is an independent contributor who works independently and achieves the objectives established with minimal support and direction; Active and participative member of group sales team, working within guidelines to promote team and individual productivity and growth
  • Achieve or exceed group room night / revenue goals as outlined in the approved financial plan; Achieve or exceed individual room night / revenue goals as determined by sales leadership; Achieve or exceed weekly prospecting call and in person sales call objectives as determined by sales leadership
  • Manage assigned sales territory; Produce targeted sales action plans on a quarterly and annual basis for assigned market segments; Develop and maintain Key Accounts within
  • Achieve and maintain exceptional knowledge of all Kohler hospitality businesses: history, business operations etc.; Conduct tours of hospitality businesses for qualified clients, personally representing Kohler Hospitality as a luxury destination; Represent Kohler Hospitality -- on property, in the field and at industry events – by embodying our luxury standards in your delivery and attire
  • Provide consistent and timely delivery of services to clients and assure group satisfaction; Utilize all hospitality resources responsibly
  • Organize assigned event(s) (Familiarization trip, in market events, offsite promotion etc.) complete with timeline for completion while maintaining approved budget; Provide detailed client information maintained in client management system, Delphi; Assist in Yielding and Data Entry into PMS and other connected systems
  • Attend industry trade shows as mutually determined with sales leadership; Individual membership within particular industry organizations such as: GBTA, MPI, WSAE, PCMA, etc.; Active participation in local membership organizations for all outside sales representatives; Must be able to travel to client offices for sales calls
  • Active participation in the Manager On Duty program; Handle duties as assigned by sales leadership
