About The Position

World Fuel is seeking a Sales Executive – Commercial & Industrial (C&I) to support and grow our high‑performing Florida territory. This role manages an active book of business while driving new customer acquisition across fuel cards, delivered fuel, diesel, DEF, and related energy solutions. This is a remote, field‑based B2B sales role focused on building strong customer relationships, expanding share of wallet, and delivering practical fueling solutions to Commercial & Industrial customers ranging from owner‑operators to large fleet operators.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in a field‑based or customer‑facing role
  • Proven ability to manage an active book of business while driving new customer growth
  • Experience selling to Commercial & Industrial customers, fleets, or owner‑operators
  • Short‑cycle, high‑activity sales experience (transactional + consultative)
  • Strong relationship‑building, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Highly organized and disciplined with territory and account management
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote, field‑based environment
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout Florida

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English / Spanish), particularly for Orlando and Miami markets
  • Experience in fuel, fleet, cardlock, logistics, construction, or transportation sales
  • Familiarity with fuel cards or fleet payment solutions (CFN, FleetCor, EFS, Comdata, Voyager)
  • Prior experience selling diesel, delivered fuel, DEF, or related energy products

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an existing book of business (200+ accounts) with immediate revenue responsibility
  • Identify and close new B2B customer opportunities across the Florida market
  • Develop account strategies focused on retention, growth, and margin improvement
  • Sell and cross‑sell World Fuel solutions including fuel cards, bulk fuel delivery, diesel, gas, and DEF
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer operations and fueling needs
  • Conduct regular in‑person customer visits across Orlando, Tampa, and Miami
  • Maintain accurate pipelines, forecasts, and activity tracking within CRM systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Supply, Logistics, Credit, and Customer Operations
  • Monitor market conditions and competitive activity within the territory
  • Operate in compliance with company, safety, and regulatory standards

Benefits
