Sales & Event Coordinator -Part Time (Newark)
About The Position
United Skates of America is seeking an enthusiastic candidate to join their team at Branch Brook Park Skating in Newark, NJ. This part-time role will be based in Newark, NJ, but will assist both Newark, NJ and Jackson, NJ locations with sales. The facility offers roller and in-line skating, a large arcade, a novelty redemption shop, a pizza café, and hosts birthday parties. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, work independently, be highly motivated, adaptable, intelligent, accountable, creative, an excellent communicator, and thrive under pressure. A confident, fun, and outgoing personality is desired.
Requirements
- Outside sales experience required.
- Sales: 2 years (required)
- Cold calling: 1 year (required)
Nice To Haves
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Contact public and private schools, churches, clubs, scouts, youth groups, and local businesses to organize special promotional events.
- Schedule fundraising activities, parties, and STEM field trips.
- Promote events through social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.
- Open the building after being fully trained (key holder responsibilities).
